<p>I also realize I have been neglecting this site, blog, whatever... Italian Coast Guard continues to search. An interview with Crew Member put out two scenarios. They exited the balloon to a life raft. The balloon now much lighter then   flew on which is why the beacon never went off. They launched from the neighbor's yard across the street. What a great anniversary present for them. Just so happened my friend Leslie was in town so we took her over there to watch the launch and help out a little. It was Leslie's first time up close to a balloon. A fun time was had by all.

My Crew Chief still has her arm in a sling after her bicycle crash during the Sunflower Ride. Poor Deb is still hurting. I could have asked around for crew but I didn't have the heart to leave her behind.</p>]]></content></entry></feed>
